Shipping rates via USPS Priority are listed in the chart below and based on destination time zones.* All orders are insured against shipping loss or damage sustained during transit, and shipped with Delivery Confirmation. Tracking numbers are available upon request. Typical time in transit is 2-3 days, therefore we ship on Monday or Tuesday to avoid possible stranding in POs over the weekend. All insurance stops at your doorstep and does not cover losses or damage sustained from heat, theft, cold, or the acts of God and small children that may occur after they arrive. If there is a chance of your Postman leaving your package in full sun on the front stoop in 95 degree heat or freezing temps for several hours before you get home, we suggest signature confirmation for an additional buck. Cold packs are available upon request for an extra $3.00, but will not save your plants in 90+ degree, day long heat, and are generally not needed in all but the hottest periods/areas. We suggest delivery to a PO box or General Delivery if you are unable to be home when the Postman rings.
*We are currently unable to ship to States West of the Rockies due to agricultural restrictions in these States. We are trying to arrange a seasonal inspection which will allow monthly shipping to these states in the future, so please stay in touch.

People are often amazed at how well are plants are packed and the condition they arrive in. Check out the Garden Watchdog site for a couple of rave reviews which are typical of the responses we often recieve. Also, shipping larger plants (2-3 gallon) is extremely time consuming and reflected in the price. We suggest that you check your local nursery before ordering to save some of your hard earned cash for another hydrangea to add to your collection or garden!
* 1, 2 and 3 gallon plants may be shipped with pot removed to facilitate shipping and reduce weight if requested.
For larger orders, bareroot shipping is available via UPS ground or Fed-EX.
